Exhibitions Currently held at Palazzo Strozzi, the exhibition The Cleaner offers visitors an overview of the iconic works of Marina Abramović, one of the most celebrated and controversial figures in contemporary art. Banksy: This is not a photo opportunity, hosted at Palazzo Medici Riccardi until 24 February, will display 20 of the most memorable works so far produced by world-renown Banksy, one of the most elusive, inventive and intuitive artists of our time.  Folklore is the main attraction in Fucecchio where the historical Fiera di Novembre (the November festival)  will be back from the 1 to the 11 November.
Food Festivals: From the 1 to 4 November, Reggello will host the 45th Extra Virgin Olive Oil Festival, one of the oldest events taking place in the area. More olive oil celebrations will take place in Vinci on the 3 and 4 November. Over the first two weekends of the month, Scarperia will host the Truffle Festival.  From the 9 to 11 November in Figline Valdarno, the 20th Autumnia will be dedicated to agriculture, environment, and food. The chocolate festival in Certaldo on the weekend of the 17 and 18 November will gather chocolatiers coming from all over Italy.
Finally, for the Sports, on the 25th of November, the focus will be on the 35th Florence Marathon. The international road race event is the second Italian marathon (after Rome) and positions itself among the 20 most important marathons in the world for numbers of participants.
