In Fiesole, until 28th July, Estate Fiesolana celebrates its 70th (edition) bringing music, theatre, jazz and much more *to the enchanting Roman Amphitheatre.

The Medicea trade wine show is to be held in Cerreto Guidi from 11th to 16th July. This celebration of DOCG Chianti promises evenings full of fine food and wine and great entertainment.

The International Street Theatre festival, Mercantia is back in Certaldo, from 12th to 16th July. “The Big Party” is the theme chosen for the 30th edition, with five days of street performers, theatre, dance live music and more.

The second MusArt Festival will take place from 17th to 23 July, combining great concerts, art TUAR tours, culture and gourmet cuisine in the Piazza Santissima Annunziata, in the heart of Florence. Paolo Conte, Yann Tiersen and Raphael Gualazzi are just a few of the artists not to be missed.

Some of the exhibitions we recommend include: Ytalia, dedicated to Italian contemporary art – in Florence at Forte Belvedere, until October; “Michelangelo and the siege of Florence”, at the Casa Buonarroti museum until 10th July. “Leonardo an impossible exhibition” in Vinci at Villa del Faralle, where full size digital reproductions of seventeen of the most celebrated paintings of the Tuscan genius will be on display.
