Art – Two important exhibitions at Palazzo Medici Riccardi. Until 7th January it is hosting “Federico Angeli, the Florentine Renaissance in the 20th century. Until 28th January “Depero. Cavalcata fantastica’, an important monographic exhibition dedicated to the master of futurism. Until 4th February 2024 Palazzo Strozzi is hosting the great exhibition ‘Untrue unreal’ conceived and created together with Anish Kapoor, the famous master who revolutionised the idea of sculpture in contemporary art. At Palazzo Pitti until 10th December you can admire the first solo exhibition in Italy of the Chinese artist Wang Guangyi. Until 2nd June 2024, the Palazzo dei Vicari in Scarperia will host “The Medici: People of Mugello. Family portraits from the Uffizi Galleries”.
Taste – Until November 5th, the 50th edition of the Reggello Extra Virgin Olive Oil Festival. From 10th to 12th November the 24th edition of Autumnia, the fair dedicated to agriculture, the environment and food, scheduled in the old town centre of Figline. In Bagno a Ripoli on 18th and 19th November, the 25th edition of Prim’Olio, the trade fair to be held at Giardiano dei Ponti. On 25th and 26th November the first edition of Frant’Olio, the trade fair for extra virgin olive oil from the Impruneta area.
