Exhibitions – The Museum of Santa Maria Novella in Florence will host The Botany of Leonardo until 15 December. The exhibition explores Leonardo da Vinci’s botanical studies on the forms and processes of the plant world. Until 12 January Palazzo Strozzi will present a major retrospective of the famous Russian artist, Natalia Goncharova, leader of the Moscow avant-garde of the early 20th century

Until 1 March, the church of Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence will host the multimedia exhibition “Inside Magritte, dedicated to the famous Surrealist artist.

In Certaldo, the celebrations for Blessed Giulia della Rena will continue until 9 January, with an exhibition itinerary across the entire municipality.
We remind you that every Monday, throughout 2019, young European citizens aged between 18 and 25 will be offered free admission to Museo of Palazzo Vecchio, Museo Novecento, Museo Stefano Bardini, the Brancacci Chapel and Fondazione Salvatore Romano.

Food Festivals – Olive oil will be the king of the month. On 16 and 17 November Pontassieve will celebrate the Festival of Olio Nuovo, the new oil. On 17 San Casciano will host the Festival of Fettunta and Olio Nuovo. More olive oil celebrations in Vinci on the 9 and 10 November.
On 16 and 17 November Certaldo will host The Chocolate Festival. From 15 to 17 November the Mugello truffle market will be held in Borgo San Lorenzo. The precious tuber will be also celebrated in Scarperia on the first two weekends of the month.
